Learn to systematically engage stakeholders, improve influencing skills, manage diverse interactions, and navigate conflicts and differences when managing projects
In dynamic and complex business environments, effective stakeholder management is crucial for success. This workshop equips participants with the skills to identify their key stakeholders’ preferred styles and interests, and devise strategies to leverage this knowledge to help them succeed in their projects. Using structured methodologies to quantify current, genuine stakeholder challenges, participants specify a target stakeholder they wish to improve their relationship with. They learn from the course material and their colleagues new ways to approach their stakeholders, and develop clear, measurable plans to implement.
Target Group: Project managers, business development reps, account managers, sales professionals, HR staff, PR professionals, and entrepreneurs needing to manage and influence key stakeholders.
Delivery: Face-to-face classroom and/or Instructor-led virtual webinar.
Duration: Either 1-2 full days or split into 2–3-hour modules delivered over 1-2 weeks.

DESCRIPTION
This workshop focuses on enhancing participants’ ability to confidently and effectively engage with key stakeholders. The course includes practical exercises in facilitating stakeholder meetings, applied behavioural style analysis, client relationship management techniques and negotiation skills, culminating in an actionable Stakeholder Action Plan.
AIMS
- To develop participants’ skills in managing stress and conflicts while engaging with key stakeholders.
- To enhance participants’ ability to influence and prioritise stakeholders through structured questioning and behavioral style analysis.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Participants will:
- Identify and prioritise key stakeholders, understanding their styles and KPIs.
- Apply a structured questioning model to build rapport and uncover stakeholders’ priorities.
- Manage stress and conflict effectively through role-playing and feedback in challenging stakeholder meetings.
- Negotiate successfully by leveraging information.
- Create a Stakeholder Action Plan to apply learned skills in real-world scenarios
