This immersive six-week program places participants inside a competitive international business simulation. They lead a team, make decisions under pressure and experience the consequences. Structured feedback, expert masterclasses, personal executive coaching and manager involvement help participants apply their learning to a real workplace leadership challenge.

Target Group: Emerging executives, new and experienced managers, team leaders, technical specialists moving into leadership, startup founders and scale-up leaders seeking stronger leadership and commercial judgement.

Delivery: Instructor-led virtual program comprising 12 live 2-hour facilitated webinar sessions, six business simulation rounds, personal executive coaching, peer feedback and workplace application.

Duration: Six weeks, with two facilitated sessions each week and additional time for simulation decisions, reflection and workplace application.

DESCRIPTION

The Emerging Executive Fast Track Program is a simulation-led leadership journey that develops leadership capability through experience, feedback, coaching and practical application.

Participants work in competing teams to manage a realistic international business. They make decisions involving strategy, people, customers, operations, finance, risk and changing market conditions. The results reveal how their judgement, communication and leadership behaviour affect team motivation and business performance.

Each participant identifies a current workplace leadership challenge as a personal case study. They work with a Personal Executive Coach and their manager to establish clear objectives, review progress and create a practical action plan.

The program includes direct peer feedback, expert leadership masterclasses and access to recorded sessions for personal review and analysis.

LEARNING JOURNEY FEATURES AND LEARNER BENEFITS

Across six weeks, participants complete 12 live facilitated sessions and six rounds of a competitive international business simulation. Each stage combines practical leadership experience, expert guidance, feedback and workplace application so that learning translates into measurable improvement at work.

Week 1 Set Direction

Define a current workplace leadership challenge and agree clear objectives with the participant’s manager and Personal Executive Coach.
Mobilise a new simulation team, set direction and begin making leadership and commercial decisions.
Establish a clear starting point, stronger accountability and a practical focus for applying the learning at work.

Week 2 Know Yourself and Build the Team

Explore personal leadership style and its effect on trust, motivation, inclusion and team performance.
Receive direct peer feedback and review recorded sessions to identify strengths, blind spots and behavioural patterns.
Build the self-awareness and confidence needed to lead people with different styles, needs and priorities.

Week 3 Coach, Communicate and Influence

Practise delegation, coaching, constructive feedback and influencing through facilitated activities and simulation decisions.
Apply tools from expert leadership masterclasses, supported by independent guidance and challenge from a Personal Executive Coach.
Improve the ability to develop capable people, communicate expectations and maintain appropriate support and oversight.

Week 4 Lead Under Pressure

Manage performance issues, conflict, difficult conversations and changing business conditions within the simulation.
Experience how leadership behaviour and communication affect team motivation, trust and business results.
Develop greater confidence, resilience and composure when handling demanding workplace situations.

Week 5 Make Decisions and Lead Change

Use commercial judgement to respond to changes involving strategy, people, customers, operations, finance and risk.
Use AI-supported analysis to test assumptions while retaining personal judgement, responsibility and accountability.
Strengthen decision-making under pressure and understand the wider business consequences of leadership choices.

Week 6 Demonstrate the Impact

Review progress with the coach, peers and manager and evaluate the effect of new leadership behaviours on the workplace challenge.
Consolidate insights from the six simulation rounds, 12 live sessions, masterclasses, feedback and personal reflection.

• Complete a coach-confirmed 30-day action plan, with structured manager support and the option to continue executive coaching after the program.

Extended Personal Executive Coach support is available on a subscription basis.
